How to configure PD Onboard reminders and stalled alerts in Blesta
PD Onboard turns the information needed after a Blesta order into a customer checklist. Use automatic chasing only after deciding who should receive it and how long an inactive checklist should wait. Automatic reminders and stalled alerts require Pro.
Configure automatic chasing
- Open PD Modules → Onboarding → Settings.
- Review Pro: Email a reminder when a customer stops part-way. It is off by default; this switch also enables the stalled-alert sweep.
- Set Pro: Days of no progress before a reminder to the intended delay, within the displayed range.
- Set Pro: Days before your team is told an onboarding has stalled.
- Under Pro: Who to alert about stalled onboarding, enter the intended addresses, separated by commas. Blank uses the platform system email address.
- Save only after checking the recipients and your normal platform mail and cron operation.
Understand timing
Customer reminders can repeat after another configured delay if no progress is made. A staff stalled alert is intended once per stall; progress can make a later stall eligible again. Staff changes to step progress also refresh the activity timing.
The scheduled sweep handles a limited batch. It depends on the platform cron and successful mail handling, so the configured number of days is an eligibility threshold rather than an exact delivery time. Check the normal mail evidence before resending.
Send a deliberate manual reminder
Open the active run in In progress and use Send a reminder when appropriate. This is a real email attempt and is separate from the automatic reminder switch. The email lists up to eight outstanding customer steps; it is not a complete staff-task report. Check the result and mail record before retrying, and do not assume success means the customer received it.
