How to cancel or reopen a PD Onboard run in Blesta
PD Onboard turns the information needed after a Blesta order into a customer checklist. Use cancellation when onboarding should stop but the supplied information must remain available to staff. Use reopening when the same customer needs to continue the existing work.
Cancel without deleting the run
- Open PD Modules → Onboarding → In progress.
- Find the correct customer and checklist and choose Open.
- Review the reference, progress and answers before choosing the whole-run Cancel action.
- Read the confirmation and proceed only for the intended run.
Cancellation changes the state and stops this run being the customer’s active checklist. It retains supplied answers and uploads. It does not erase downloaded copies or recall previously sent messages. Another active run can still appear for the same customer.
Resume the existing work
Choose Cancelled or Completed in the run list, open the intended run and use the whole-run Reopen action. Existing answers remain. If a specific answer needs correction, use that step’s Reopen action too, then confirm the whole run is in progress.
The customer page selects the newest active run, so reopening an older run does not guarantee that it becomes the customer’s selected checklist while a newer active run exists. Review overlaps before sending the customer back.
Treat deletion separately
Delete is a destructive cleanup action that attempts to remove the run, its answers and uploaded files. Do not use it as a reset or routine way to fix progress. Removal can involve several operations, so do not assume that an error means nothing changed. Keep the run reference and check the resulting run, answer and uploaded-file state before repeating a deletion.
