How to start PD Onboard manually for an existing customer in Blesta

PD Onboard turns the information needed after a Blesta order into a customer checklist. Start a checklist by hand when a customer predates your onboarding workflow, or when automatic starting is deliberately switched off.

Start the right checklist

  1. Open PD Modules → Onboarding → In progress.
  2. Expand Start onboarding by hand.
  3. Under For these clients, search for and select the intended customer accounts. Check each selected name.
  4. Choose the Checklist. Only checklists with steps are offered; paused checklists can also appear and are labelled accordingly.
  5. Review the customer list and checklist before choosing Start onboarding.

This makes the checklist available to the selected customers. It is an actual client-facing change, not a preview. Check the returned result and the run list before repeating the action. An existing active run for the same customer and checklist is skipped, but this does not prevent every possible overlap with other checklists.

Understand the service context

A manually started run selects the customer and checklist; it does not select an individual service or domain. Do not expect domain-based live checks to know which website you meant. If a run needs a service-associated domain, review the appropriate automatic order workflow rather than assuming that a customer-level start supplies one.

Check customer access

Open the run in staff view and confirm its owner and steps. Use a controlled customer account to check the customer page. If several runs are active, the customer page selects the newest active run rather than presenting a complete run selector.

For a missing checklist, check ownership, existing active runs and client visibility settings.
