How to add questions and staff tasks to a PD Onboard checklist in Blesta
PD Onboard turns the information needed after a Blesta order into a customer checklist. Use different step types to distinguish information the customer must supply from work your team must finish.
Add the steps
- Open the checklist from Checklists.
- Under Add step, choose What kind of step: Information to read, A question to answer, Something to confirm or A task for your team.
- Enter What are you asking for and useful Guidance. For a question, select Answer format. Choose from a list uses The choices, with one choice on each line.
- Review Requirement and choose Add step.
- Use Up and Down to arrange a clear sequence.
Short text suits a project name; long text suits a brief. Date, email and web-address formats help present the requested answer, but staff should still review supplied values. A completed question is not proof that a date is suitable or an address belongs to the customer.
Decide what completion means
With at least one required step, the required steps determine completion. If every step is optional, the checklist still needs all its steps completed before the run finishes. An empty checklist does not complete automatically.
Staff tasks are hidden from the customer but can still be required. Complete them from the staff run view; the customer cannot finish them for you. This also means the customer’s visible progress and the staff total may differ.
Check before reuse
Review the customer-facing wording and each required staff task. Editing or removing steps changes the checklist used by existing runs too; it is not a separate saved version for each customer. Duplicate the checklist for a substantially different workflow.
