How to enrol existing WHMCS services in PD Uptime monitoring

Bring existing hosting services into PD Uptime & Status without provisioning them again. Automatic enrolment handles newly provisioned services; Watch my existing services is the separate catch-up action for services already active in WHMCS.

Choose the products deliberately

Install and enable PD Uptime & Status through PD Modules and grant the relevant staff access. Open PD Modules → Uptime → Monitors and expand Which products to watch.

  1. Search Products to watch and select the intended products or packages.
  2. Press Save and reopen the selection to check it.
  3. In Settings, review Watch services automatically for future provisioning.
  4. Review Show customers their own uptime before linking monitoring to customer services.

An empty product selection means every eligible product, not “watch nothing”. Changing this selection does not automatically remove monitors already created for other products.

Enrol the existing services

On Monitors, choose Watch my existing services, read its confirmation and continue only for the intended scope. It adds website monitors for matching active services that are not already watched and have an address the automatic enrolment accepts. Bare IPs, many subdomains and non-website service references can be skipped; use a reviewed manual monitor where appropriate.

The bulk pass considers up to 2,000 active services. Review the result and actual coverage on a large installation rather than assuming the button proves every service was enrolled.

Verify monitoring and customer display

Check the new monitor’s address, customer association and Checked time. Check everything now requests a check round but still respects pause state, tier eligibility and batch limits. A listed monitor is not necessarily being checked when it is beyond the non-Pro allowance.

The customer sees the Availability panel on the linked service’s page. Automatic and bulk-created monitors are linked to the service, so customer display can appear when enabled. When a service is terminated, its automatically created monitors are removed; manually added monitors are treated separately. Do not terminate or recreate a service to repair monitoring.
