PD Discount Manager for WHMCS: set up automatic discounts
PD Discount Manager applies discount rules without asking the customer to type a promotion code. Match the rule to the intended products and customers, then verify the amount and renewal behaviour.
What the workflow covers
Rules can use a percentage or fixed reduction and can have date, audience and product restrictions. Decide whether overlapping rules should stack or whether the best single rule should apply before enabling several campaigns.
Before you start
Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Discount Manager from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.
Set up your first workflow
- Create one discount rule and give it a clear name. Set the reduction and the products or groups it should cover.
- Review eligibility, dates and renewal handling. Keep the first rule narrow so you can recognise why it applies.
- Check a qualifying cart and one that should not qualify. Confirm the discount is visible and that unrelated items keep their expected amounts.
Check the result
Check both the initial order and the intended renewal behaviour. A rule being enabled does not mean every customer or item qualifies.
