How to show a customer their service uptime in WHMCS
Link an existing PD Uptime & Status monitor to the intended service so its customer can review availability in WHMCS. This updates the association without deleting the monitor’s history. Customer display and the Pro public status page are separate visibility controls.
Link the monitor to the correct service
- Open PD Modules → Uptime → Monitors.
- Expand Show an existing monitor to a customer.
- Select Which monitor and check its label and address.
- In Whose service is it, choose the exact intended customer service.
- Press Link, then verify the Customer shown for that monitor.
The association determines whose portal can display the monitor; it does not change the address being checked. Confirm that a shared infrastructure monitor is suitable for the customer before linking it to their service.
Enable and verify the customer surface
In Settings, review Show customers their own uptime. When enabled, the customer sees the Availability panel on the linked service’s page.
Check the result using an account you control and the intended service. The panel needs an associated monitor; simply enabling the setting does not create monitoring for every existing service. Enrol existing services or add the intended monitor separately.
Detach the service without losing history
Return to Show an existing monitor to a customer, select the monitor, leave Whose service is it empty and press Link. Check the Customer column and the portal result again. This removes that customer association while preserving the monitor and its recorded history.
It does not unpublish the monitor from a Pro public status page. Review Publish/Unpublish separately when making something private. If a customer sees no information, check association, the display setting, actual check history and the platform-specific location before changing the monitor. Redact customer information in any supporting screenshot.
