How to brand the PD AI Assistant customer widget in Blesta
PD AI Assistant’s customer-facing name, launcher wording, position and accent colour can be changed without editing a template. Use these settings to make the assistant recognisable in your client area.
Open the branding controls
Go to PD Modules → PD AI Assistant → Settings → Client access → Branding. Review the current enabled and recording settings before saving: this tab submits customer access, recording, review notice and branding together.
The staff assistant’s name is a separate setting under Data & privacy. The customer name can be independent, while leaving it blank uses the staff name or the default assistant name.
Set the visible identity
- Enter Assistant name (customer-facing) for the name the assistant should use in its heading and answers.
- Choose Position: bottom right, bottom left, top right or top left.
- Set Accent colour for the launcher and chat accents.
- Enter Button label for the wording customers see on the launcher.
- Confirm the other Client access values and choose Save.
The customer-facing name and button label are different fields. A useful label describes the interaction, while the name identifies the assistant. Keep both short enough to read on a narrow screen. An empty button label restores the default translated wording rather than hiding the launcher.
Inspect the actual client area
With a signed-in account you control, refresh the client page and open the assistant. Check the launcher label, selected corner, heading and accent colour at desktop and mobile widths. Make sure the launcher does not obstruct your theme’s existing help or account controls.
A saved form does not establish that every customised theme displays it as intended. If the old appearance remains, confirm the saved settings and normal page/cache behaviour before editing module files.
Branding does not change which customer account the tools can read, which knowledge sources are shared or which provider handles the request. Review those settings separately when the assistant’s purpose changes. Do not test the appearance by sending real customer records to the model.
