Generate a password or passphrase in WHMCS with PD Password Manager
Create a credential in PD Password Manager before saving or handing it over. Generating a value does not change an existing login.
Choose a style
- Open PD Password Manager → Generate.
- Choose Style. All characters (strongest) includes symbols; Letters + numbers (no symbols) excludes them. Easy to read (no look-alikes) removes similar characters. Easy to say (letters only) uses letters.
- Set Length for a character password. The generator supports 4–64 characters; the lower limit is a control limit, not a recommended password length.
- Choose Generate and review Generated. Copy the value you intend to use before generating another.
Generate a passphrase
Select Passphrase (memorable words). Set Words between three and eight, choose Word separator, and decide whether to use Capitalise each word and Add a two-digit number. Generate a new result and check that the destination account accepts its length and characters. Treat the strength meter as an estimate, not proof that the credential meets every service’s rules.
Save or hand over the result
If you can manage vault entries, enter Title for the vault entry and choose Save to vault. Open the saved entry afterwards to add its folder, username or client association.
Share as a one-time public link appears only when public links without a passphrase are permitted. For client-area delivery or Pro protection options, use Share a secret. Saving a password in the vault or creating a link does not apply it to a service.
