Organise and find vault entries in PD Password Manager for WHMCS

Use folders, tags and search to find the right credential without opening several secrets to discover which account they belong to.

Add a folder and assign entries

  1. Open PD Password Manager → Vault.
  2. Under Manage folders, enter New folder name and choose Add folder.
  3. Open an entry’s Edit screen and select its Folder.
  4. Add a useful Tag, then choose Save changes.

Use account or project descriptions rather than secret values in folder names, titles and tags. Editing an entry can display its secret when your role has reveal permission.

Narrow the list

Search for a title, username, URL, tag or associated client. Combine the list’s Folder and Type filters, sorting and page controls. Check Username, Type, Folder, Tag and Owner before opening a similar title.

The vault list loads up to 1,000 entries before its on-screen search and filters. In a larger vault, a missing search result is not proof that no entry exists. Avoid creating a duplicate until the existing entry has been checked.

Organisation is separate from access

Owner identifies the staff creator. It does not make the row private to that staff member. A folder or attached client is not a separate staff permission boundary. Use Pro staff access controls to decide who can view the vault, reveal values and manage entries; configure client visibility separately.
