PD Site Sentinel for WHMCS: check websites from the outside

PD Site Sentinel checks customer websites through their public web pages. It looks for issues such as exposed files, certificate problems, missing security headers and mixed content without installing an agent on the site.

What the workflow covers

An outside-in check sees what a visitor can reach. It cannot inspect private server files or prove that a website has no vulnerabilities. Use each finding to decide what to inspect next.

Before you start

Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Site Sentinel from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.

Set up your first workflow

  1. Open Site Sentinel → Settings and choose the sites and checks you want to include. Review automatic enrolment of hosting services.
  2. Set the number of sites checked per run and the recipients for serious findings. Enable customer visibility only when you want customers to see it.
  3. Read one site’s results and confirm the affected URL and check before changing anything on the website.

Check the result

The report should identify the site and explain the observed issue. Re-check after a fix and retain the context when escalating a finding.

Page-change alerts and blocklist checks are Pro features.
