Accept and restore a reviewed Site Sentinel finding in WHMCS

Accept a finding only after deciding how it should be handled. Acceptance organises the attention list; it does not fix the website.

Mark a reviewed finding

  1. Open PD Modules → Site Sentinel → Needs attention.
  2. Confirm the site, finding and current investigation outcome.
  3. Choose Accept for that row if you intend to hide it from the default attention view.
  4. Choose Show accepted and confirm that the intended row is marked accepted.

Keep your reason and any follow-up in your normal investigation record. The module does not prompt for a reason. Accepting an entire finding can hide later detail changes for the same site, kind and subject.

Restore it to attention

Use Show accepted, locate the row, then choose Un-accept. Check that it returns to the ordinary list. This changes its review state, not the scan or website configuration.

The accepted flag can persist when a resolved finding reappears. Do not assume every recurrence will automatically return to the unaccepted list. Acceptance also does not reset the site’s stored finding count or force its customer summary to show clean.

Do not use acceptance as an email control

The notification path works from fresh serious findings and does not provide a blanket “never email this accepted issue again” promise. A recurrence can be treated as fresh while retaining its accepted flag. Use the alert settings deliberately, and verify the actual state before relying on silence.
