Add a website manually to PD Site Sentinel in WHMCS

Add a site manually when it should be checked but is not represented by automatic hosting-service enrolment. Adding a row prepares monitoring; it does not scan the site immediately.

Add the intended hostname

  1. Open PD Modules → Site Sentinel → Sites.
  2. Expand Add a site.
  3. Enter the intended website hostname in Address.
  4. Choose Add site and read the result.
  5. Check the new row before choosing Scan now or waiting for the scheduled job.

Although Address accepts a URL, the saved site is reduced to its hostname and starts at HTTPS. A supplied path, query, custom port or HTTP scheme is not retained as a separate monitoring target. Do not use this screen to promise monitoring of a particular application path or nonstandard endpoint.

Check the result

A new row should be Not scanned yet until its turn is actually processed. It can also be outside the free-tier allowance. Check State and Scanned rather than treating “Added” as a completed security check.

The watched list prevents duplicate hostnames. “Already being watched, or is not an address we can check” is not a precise diagnosis of every save failure; check for an existing row and the exact hostname before retrying.

Keep customer visibility separate

This form does not attach the manual row to a client or service. A manually added site therefore does not automatically appear as that client’s service summary. Use the appropriate automatically associated service and verify the saved association rather than assuming a row belongs to a client because its domain looks familiar.
