Pause, resume or remove a watched website in Site Sentinel for WHMCS
Use Pause to stop future scanning without removing a site’s stored findings. Use Remove only when you intend to discard that watched row and its findings.
Pause and resume
- Open PD Modules → Site Sentinel → Sites.
- Confirm the intended website and client association.
- Choose Pause and check that its state becomes Paused.
- When ready to restart, choose Resume and confirm that its next eligible scan actually completes.
Pause does not undo a scan already completed or erase earlier findings and notifications. In the free tier, pausing an older row can move another row into the fixed allowance; resuming it can change that selection again.
Keep the other controls distinct
Stop change alerts excludes only the Pro page-change comparison. It is not the same as pausing all checks. Turning Watch hosted websites automatically off prevents automatic reconciliation but does not pause the rows already stored.
Remove deliberately
If you need the existing investigation record, preserve it through your normal process first. Choose Remove for the correct row and read the confirmation that its findings go with it. This does not delete the actual website or its hosting service.
An automatically discovered site can return on a later scan if its active service still qualifies and automatic enrolment remains enabled. A manually added site is not automatically removed when a service ends. Check the intended ongoing coverage rather than repeatedly deleting a row that reappears.
