Reveal a vault secret and review Activity in PD Password Manager for Blesta
Open the account metadata first, then reveal only the credential you need. Activity provides recent operational evidence without putting the secret itself in the event description.
Reveal the intended value
- Open PD Password Manager → Vault and choose Open for the correct entry.
- Check its title, username, URL and client association.
- Choose Reveal if your role is allowed to decrypt secrets.
- Copy the required value and close the revealed view when finished.
The reveal view displays Password / secret and any stored notes. It is a reading view; use Edit to change the entry. Keep revealed screens and clipboard contents out of shared screenshots and support tickets.
Review the recent events
Open Activity and compare the operation, actor, detail and time. Entries include creation, updates, secret reveals, handoff creation/opening/revocation, reset activity, access changes and exports. Opening an editor with reveal permission can also record a reveal.
The displayed Activity list contains the latest 100 events. An absent older event is not proof that the operation never happened. Recording is best effort, and Activity is not a complete external account history. A “Reset & handed off” event can describe preparing a handoff without applying a server password change; inspect the operation’s result as well.
If reveal is unavailable
Ask an authorised administrator to check your access rather than changing the entry. If the value is unexpectedly blank or unreadable, stop before editing or exporting over your recovery copy.
