Why is a PD Discount Manager discount missing or different in WHMCS?
Check a missing WHMCS discount from the intended item through to the invoice, rather than repeatedly recreating the rule. The rule’s status, audience, price component, duration and other offers all affect the result.
Check the correct price surface
WHMCS applies eligible rules while pricing the cart and when processing eligible invoices. A rule’s optional promo code must be entered in the cart; a blank code means automatic application.
A saved rule is not proof that a particular order qualifies. An existing invoice is not necessarily recalculated just because you later save a rule. Keep the original invoice and order references while checking the result.
Review the saved rule
- Confirm the module is enabled and available to the staff member reviewing it.
- Check Apply discounts and the rule’s Active or Off status. Review any displayed conflict-mode notice before changing another integration.
- Verify the actual product, group and billing cycle; check Price for recurring, setup or both.
- Review selected clients/groups, new-client and first-order conditions, required products and minimum values.
- Check start/end dates, usage caps and Apply on duration.
- Inspect explicit grid values and Default discount, including the invoice currency.
For domain or addon offers, check that separate target and action instead of assuming a product rule covers it.
Compare other offers and recorded use
Review stacking, the best matching rule, coupon or promotion use and any bundle or trial pricing. On Usage, use Search or the Rule filter to find recent recorded savings. The screen loads the latest 100 usage records; a missing older row is not proof that no discount was ever given. Totals are grouped by currency and exclude early-payment rewards from the discount total.
Do not delete a service, alter billing records or run internal repairs to test the rule.
