How to send and resend a Care Report to a Blesta customer
Send a reviewed PD Care Reports draft when the customer, service, month and contents are correct. The manual Send controls in Blesta attempt email delivery; they are separate from the automatic client-area-only publication option.
Review the report and recipient
- Open PD Modules → Care Reports → Reports and select the intended month.
- Check the customer and Site on the row.
- Open the report, add any accurate monthly note and save it.
- Use Preview the report to read the full version.
- Check the customer’s current email address through your normal authorised account workflow.
- Choose Send to the customer, read the confirmation and confirm only the intended report.
The email contains the report and a link to its full view. An accepted send is not proof of inbox delivery or that the customer read it. Check the report’s state and your normal mail evidence when a result is uncertain.
Treat resending as another email
A Sent report offers Send again. It sends another copy to the current recipient; it is not a way to unlock or regenerate the saved monthly figures and note. Current branding can still affect the displayed copy. The recorded sent time can be updated by a resend.
The Email the report to the customer setting governs automatic dispatch. Turning it off does not disable these manual Send actions.
Use bulk sending with a reviewed scope
Send every draft applies to the selected month and attempts a bounded batch of up to 500 drafts. It can skip empty reports or reports whose email cannot be sent. Success and skipped counts require review; they do not establish inbox delivery or complete coverage of a larger installation.
For an unclear result, check which reports remain Draft and reconcile mail history before retrying. Do not blindly repeat a bulk send or delete a report to force another attempt. Treat the full sent-report link as private: a recipient can open it without signing in.
