Build a PD Care Reports draft before emailing it, so you can check the service, month, measurements and your own explanation. Generation and customer delivery are separate actions in WHMCS.

Choose the month and generate

1. Review the selected plans on What goes in a report.
2. Open PD Modules → Care Reports → Reports.
3. Choose the intended calendar month in the period selector.
4. Press Generate for this month and read the result.
5. Check the customer, Site, Includes and state for the intended row.

The button uses the selected month despite its wording. Automation normally selects the previous calendar month; a manual report for the current month is a partial-month view.

Preview the customer-facing content

Use Preview on the row or open the report and choose Preview the report. Review it in your staff session: a draft is not available to a customer merely because its preview has a link.

Check the reporting month, correct service and whether each section has meaningful data. Add your own monthly note when it explains completed work or the next agreed action. A report with no useful measurements or note is skipped rather than emailed empty; a zero opened-ticket count alone may not make it sendable.

Understand regeneration

Generating again updates a draft’s stored measurements while retaining its note. A report already marked Sent keeps its stored measurements and monthly note. A successful generation count can include existing reports; it is not proof that every counted report was newly created or rewritten.

Generation can make PageSpeed requests when that section and its key are enabled, including repeated generation attempts. Do not repeatedly generate merely to refresh the screen.

Verify before delivery

Reopen the saved draft and preview it again after changes. Confirm the recipient through your normal authorised account workflow before choosing a Send action. For an unclear or partial generation result, reconcile the report list and selected month before repeating it. Do not delete an existing report to bypass its sent-state protection.
