Connect a Bitcoin or Litecoin watch-only wallet to Blesta
Accept BTC or LTC into your own wallet without giving PD Crypto Pay a spending key. A watch-only connection lets the module derive or monitor receiving addresses while you keep the keys used to spend the funds in your wallet software or hardware device.
Choose the receiving method
Use A fresh address for each payment when your Bitcoin or Litecoin wallet can export a compatible extended public key. Use A list of addresses I provide when you want to supply receiving addresses yourself, or One address for everything for a fixed address.
A shared address makes matching concurrent payments depend on their amounts. An unusual partial or excess payment can need manual review when several open requests could own it. Separate receiving addresses reduce that ambiguity; they do not make public-blockchain transactions anonymous.
Add the watch-only wallet
- In your wallet software, select the account and network you intend to receive into and obtain its extended public key or receiving addresses.
- Open PD Modules → PD Crypto Pay → Wallets → Add a wallet in Blesta.
- Enter a recognisable name, select Bitcoin or Litecoin, and choose the intended receiving method.
- Supply the extended public key or receiving address list requested by that method. Do not paste a recovery phrase or private key into a watch-only form.
- For a derived-address wallet, select the address type matching your wallet’s receiving account. Compare the form’s derived-address preview with the intended account, rather than choosing from the key prefix alone.
- Save, then check the coin/network and receiving details before exposing it at checkout.
Electrum documents its watching-only wallet approach: the master public key is separate from the offline signing wallet. Keep your own wallet’s recovery material private even though the module only needs public receiving information here.
Verify the result
Use the test-network procedure before live operation. Before accepting live payments, confirm the configured account, network and derived addresses against your own wallet. If using a pool, keep enough available addresses for the payments you expect.
If the addresses do not match, stop offering that receiving configuration and check the exported account, network and address type. Do not assume funds are visible in the intended wallet merely because the form accepted an extended key. A watch-only wallet cannot automatically send refunds or sweeps; those sends are performed from the wallet that holds the keys.
