Fix missing crypto prices and configure rate sources in Blesta
PD Crypto Pay needs an exchange rate to quote an invoice in cryptocurrency. Configure Price sources to choose where those rates come from and inspect why a coin is missing at checkout. A pricing source does not hold the receiving wallet or convert your funds.
Review the source list
- Open PD Modules → PD Crypto Pay → Price sources.
- Read each source’s status: Working, Off, Needs a key, Paused or Failing.
- Use Edit to enable a supported source or supply your own key where required.
- For a CoinGecko key, choose its correct Demo or Paid key type.
- Use Move up and Move down to set the order you want the module to try.
- Choose Test every source and inspect the result for the coins you accept.
The supported price services include CoinGecko, Kraken and CoinMarketCap. A Kraken price source and a Kraken trading connection are separate settings. You do not need to enable exchange conversion simply to obtain a quote.
Read Current prices
Check the coin, invoice currency, rate source and timestamp. If the invoice currency is reached through the billing system’s exchange rate, review that billing-currency conversion too. Do not assume that a fresh crypto rate makes an outdated billing exchange rate correct.
A missing price, a temporarily paused source or a held coin can prevent a quote. If two configured sources disagree beyond your chosen threshold, the coin can be held rather than quoted from either value.
Decide your outage behaviour
In Settings, review Refuse to quote on rates older than (minutes) and the saved-rate fallback controls. Decide how long a saved rate may be used when every source is unavailable, and the extra margin applied during that fallback. A value of 0 for the fallback duration disables quoting from a saved rate in that situation.
These are pricing-policy choices, not a promise that a chosen margin eliminates rate movement or costs. Review the saved configuration for your operation rather than copying a suggested percentage without considering its effect.
If a coin is still unavailable
Check its enabled state, receiving-network wallet, minimum amount and TEST/LIVE mode as well as Current prices. Do not disable rate checks just to make an unexplained missing coin appear. Use the gateway and coin checks to separate pricing from activation.
Check the selected price sources
Compare the coin and invoice currency with Current prices, its source and timestamp, source status and Test every source. Check the required credential type, source availability, coin/currency support, price disagreement and permitted rate age. Review billing-currency conversion separately when used. Keep price-quality checks enabled while identifying the cause of a held rate.
