How to add external domains to the PD Domain Radar watchlist in Blesta
Watch a domain held elsewhere without importing its registration into your billing system. The watchlist monitors public registry information; it does not grant control of the domain.
Add domain names
- Open PD Modules → Domain Radar → Watchlist.
- Paste domain names under Add domains, one per line or separated by commas.
- Review the names and choose Add to watchlist.
- Read the added and skipped counts, then confirm the intended rows appear.
- Allow the next sweep to check them, or use Scan now from the portfolio when appropriate.
Use plain domain names rather than email addresses, wildcards, ports or arbitrary text. Duplicate or invalid entries are skipped. Internationalised names need an accepted ASCII domain representation; do not assume that a pasted Unicode label was added. A successful import is not a successful registry check.
Understand external-domain limits
The watchlist has no managed platform registration or renewal instruction for the domain. In particular, an auto-renew-off finding for an imported name does not establish its real registrar renewal setting. Review that setting with the party that manages the registration.
If a watched name later becomes a managed platform domain, synchronisation can change its source to the platform. Do not assume that its earlier watchlist entry permanently protects it from platform synchronisation rules.
Stop watching deliberately
Use the row’s Remove action only when you intend to remove monitoring and its stored findings. This does not cancel, transfer or delete the registration at the registry. It does remove local monitoring history for that row, so retain any monitoring history you need first. Check the result before repeating a failed removal.
