How to review domain transfer locks and critical registry findings in Blesta
Domain Radar highlights registry statuses that deserve a staff review. The result describes the public lookup at its checked time; it is not a complete security assessment or a registrar action.
Find the relevant statuses
- Open PD Modules → Domain Radar → Needs attention.
- Choose Critical only for urgent transfer, deletion and hold findings, or Warnings only for lock and verification findings.
- Read What we found, the domain and Since date.
- Review the domain’s latest checked time and any Could not be checked note before acting on old information.
Transfer in progress means the response reported a pending-transfer status. Pending delete can also describe a redemption-period status. On hold at the registry reflects a reported client or server hold. The precise permitted next action depends on the domain’s actual registrar state; the module does not itself reverse a transfer or recover a name.
Interpret the transfer lock
With Flag when the registrar lock is off enabled, absence of a recognised transfer-prohibited status produces Registrar lock is off. That alone is not proof that someone can transfer the domain immediately. Other requirements can still apply, and incomplete status data can affect the result.
Review before accepting
A deliberate unlock or planned transfer can be expected. Confirm that context through your authorised domain-management workflow before using Accept. Acceptance changes the findings list; it does not reapply a registrar lock, approve a transfer or resolve a hold.
If the result is unexpected, preserve the finding reference and evidence in your investigation record. Do not use a clean or filtered list as proof that every registry status has been successfully checked.
