How to configure PD Domain Radar email digests in WHMCS

A Domain Radar digest helps staff notice new findings without repeating the whole portfolio. Keep the attention list as the main review queue rather than using email as the sole record.

Choose delivery and severity

  1. Open PD Modules → Domain Radar → Settings.
  2. Review Email a digest when something changes, which is off by default.
  3. Under Who receives the digest, enter intended staff addresses separated by commas. An empty or unusable list falls back to the WHMCS system sender address when valid.
  4. Choose Only tell me about: Critical findings only, Warnings and critical (recommended) or Everything, including notes.
  5. Save after checking the recipients and your normal platform mail configuration.

Know when a digest is attempted

The scheduled sweep needs new qualifying findings. Scan now deliberately performs a manual batch without sending that run’s digest. Enabling email does not immediately send the existing backlog or guarantee that a manual scan becomes an email test.

The digest lists up to 40 eligible findings and indicates additional ones. The open-finding query is itself bounded, so the email is not an unlimited portfolio export. A successful mail-layer result is not proof of inbox delivery.

Investigate a missing message

Check the scheduled sweep, severity filter, new-finding timing, recipients and normal mail evidence. A changed accepted finding can reappear in the list without qualifying for the digest’s first-seen-time filter. A mail failure also does not create a persistent retry queue for those findings.

Review Needs attention even when no email arrives. Check the sweep time, severity setting and mail result before rerunning scans merely to try to trigger another digest.
