PD Agreements for WHMCS: versioned customer agreements

Keep the agreement a customer signs attached to the version they actually saw. PD Agreements brings document drafting, publication and signature records into WHMCS.

What the workflow covers

Use it when an updated policy or a project agreement needs a clear acceptance workflow. You choose the audience and signature method, then review who has signed and who is still waiting. A new published version is a separate document version; edit a draft before publishing it.

Before you start

Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Agreements from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.

Set up your first workflow

  1. Create a draft agreement and write the document in Markdown. Give it a recognisable title so staff and customers can identify it.
  2. Choose the products, groups or customers it applies to. Configure whether customers are asked at checkout or on their next sign-in.
  3. Select the signature method and review the access and reminder settings before publishing the document.

Check the result

Check the published version, the intended audience and an acceptance record before applying the same workflow more widely. Keep the document wording and the recorded version together when answering a customer question.
