How to review PD AI Assistant usage in WHMCS

Use Usage to inspect recorded AI Assistant activity, provider and model names, and input/output token figures. It helps explain how the module has been used; your connected provider remains the source for its actual charges and account limits.

Open the module’s activity view

Open PD Modules → PD AI Assistant → Report & Activity and select Usage. In the released navigation, Usage is an insight within that area rather than a separate configuration section.

Read the When, Action, Provider, Model and Tokens (in/out) columns together. The input and output figures describe different parts of the model exchange; they are not amounts of money or remaining account credit.

Find the relevant event

  1. Note the time and kind of assistant task you are investigating.
  2. Use the table’s search for the action, provider or model.
  3. Check the matching row and its input/output figures.
  4. Clear the search when reviewing activity beyond that selection.
  5. Compare any billing question with the provider’s own account records.

The view shows recent stored activity. Its month summary is calculated from a limited recent window, so a busy installation can have earlier activity that is not represented there. Do not treat the visible table or summary as a complete monthly statement.

Interpret what is counted

A recorded module task can involve more than one model or tool step. The number of displayed calls is not proof of the total number of provider HTTP requests, and not every kind of provider activity is necessarily included. Knowledge indexing and other provider usage must be reconciled with the provider’s records when cost matters.

An empty Usage view does not establish that no provider request occurred. Failed or unrecorded work can leave less evidence than a completed answer. Record a redacted error and the attempt time if the behaviour needs investigation; do not repeatedly generate answers just to make a usage row appear.

Changing a filter does not change provider billing, model access or quotas. Keep those separate from the module’s recent activity display.
