PD Onboard for WHMCS: build a customer onboarding checklist

PD Onboard gives a new customer one checklist for the information you need to start work. Staff can see which step is complete and what is holding the service up.

What the workflow covers

Build reusable checklists for the services you sell, with steps for answers, files or other required inputs. A clear label and an explanation of the expected answer reduce the need for repeated clarification.

Before you start

Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Onboard from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.

Set up your first workflow

  1. Create a checklist for one service and add its required steps. Ask only for the information needed to complete that work.
  2. Assign the checklist to the appropriate products or packages and review when it starts. In Settings, distinguish an activated service from an order placed before payment.
  3. Read the customer checklist and the staff progress view. Configure the completion message before using it for new orders.

Check the result

A completed step should preserve the answer against the right customer and checklist. Check both progress and submitted information before marking the onboarding work finished.

Automatic reminders and additional verification features are Pro features. Start with a checklist you can review manually before enabling them.
