How customers return to a PD Onboard checklist in WHMCS
PD Onboard turns the information needed after a WHMCS order into a customer checklist. A clear route back to unfinished onboarding reduces repeated requests for the same information. Check the customer’s experience as well as the staff run list.
Make the route visible
- Open PD Modules → Onboarding → Settings.
- Review Show a panel on the client dashboard and Show a notice while a checklist is still open.
- Save the intended settings.
- With a controlled customer account, open the WHMCS client-area home page and follow the onboarding link where it is available.
On WHMCS, check the dashboard panel and the available client-area notice or navigation in your active theme.
Continue a checklist
The customer signs in to the account that owns the onboarding, reads the opening guidance and submits the requested steps. Progress is saved as steps are submitted, so they can return later. Staff-only tasks are not displayed to the customer.
The customer page selects the newest active run. If none is active, it uses the most recent run; a cancelled run displays no current checklist. It is not a complete history or a selector for every service. Several active checklists therefore need staff review rather than an assumption that the customer can freely switch between them.
Diagnose an unexpected view
Compare the signed-in account, run state and newest active run in staff view. An upload or credential step may pause when Pro is unavailable. A completed screen does not itself prove that a live check succeeded or an email arrived.
