Fix the PD Modules administrator role access message in WHMCS
If PD Modules shows Access has not been given for your admin role group to access this addon module, check which administrator roles are allowed to open the addon. Activating PD Modules and granting role access are separate steps.
Ask the right administrator
Use an administrator account allowed to configure addon modules. Confirm the role assigned to the affected account before changing anything. A role is shared by the administrators assigned to it, so selecting a role can allow more than one person into the panel.
Do not give someone full administrator access merely to clear this message. Grant the intended addon access through the existing role process.
Allow the intended role
- In the WHMCS administration area, open System Settings → Addon Modules. Older installations use Setup → Addon Modules.
- Find PD Modules and choose Configure.
- Tick the administrator roles that should be able to open it, including the affected account’s role when appropriate.
- Choose Save Changes.
- Use the affected account to open Addons → PD Modules again.
Check the result
The panel should open without the addon role-access message. If your account cannot see the configuration controls, ask the administrator who manages addon access to make the change.
Panel access is not a promise that every individual module operation is allowed or configured. Some modules have their own staff permissions; check those separately when the panel opens but a particular action is refused.
If the same message remains
Confirm that you changed the intended WHMCS installation and that the account is actually assigned to the selected role. Check the saved addon configuration, rather than repeatedly uploading or reinstalling PD Modules.
