PD Guard for WHMCS: review installation security findings
PD Guard checks your WHMCS installation and presents security and configuration findings for staff to review. It also offers sign-in alerts, with additional monitoring available on Pro.
What the workflow covers
Begin with the report and understand each finding before changing settings. An installation check and an alert are evidence for investigation, not a guarantee that an installation is free of security problems.
Before you start
Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Guard from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.
Set up your first workflow
- Open PD Guard and read the current report. Prioritise findings whose cause you can confirm in your own admin.
- In Settings, review Alert on admin login and Only alert on a new IP / location. Set the alert recipient before relying on those notifications.
- Review the client login-history options and decide which alerts your team will actually investigate. Enable additional Pro monitoring only after checking its configuration.
Check the result
Confirm the report is current and the chosen alert recipient is correct. Use the relevant task guide below to check the named setting or requirement. For work outside your admin controls, involve the administrator responsible for your server.
