PD Email Deliverability for WHMCS: check email-domain DNS
PD Email Deliverability reads the DNS records behind your customers’ email and turns configuration problems into findings you can act on. It does not change DNS automatically. For certain suggestions, a matched PD DNS zone can offer a confirmed TXT-record addition. Review the actual target zone, existing records and intended policy before using that action.
What the workflow covers
The checks cover email-authentication records such as SPF, DKIM and DMARC. DKIM requires the right selector name: a record not found at the selectors you supplied does not prove that the domain has no DKIM record.
Before you start
Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Email Deliverability from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.
Set up your first workflow
- Open Deliverability → Settings and choose whether to check hosting-service domains, registered domains or both.
- Enter the DKIM selectors used by the mail systems you support. Review how monitoring-only DMARC policies and domains that do not send mail should be reported.
- Run a domain check, read the finding and confirm the correct record with the service that sends that domain’s email before changing DNS.
Check the result
Re-check the domain after an approved DNS change. Review the new finding rather than assuming a published record has already reached every resolver.
A good DNS result is useful evidence about configuration; it is not a promise that every message will reach the inbox.
