How to configure PD Email Deliverability change emails in Blesta

Use change emails as a prompt to review the staff findings queue. They do not replace regular coverage checks or a review of accepted exceptions.

Configure recipients

  1. Open PD Modules → Deliverability → Settings.
  2. Review Email me when something changes, which is off by default.
  3. Under Who receives it, enter the intended staff addresses, separated by commas.
  4. Save after reviewing normal Blesta mail and cron operation.

If there are no usable recipient addresses, the module can fall back to the platform system sender address when valid. Confirm the intended recipient instead of relying on an accidentally invalid address list.

Know what triggers the message

The scheduled sweep emails eligible newly opened or reopened findings at warning or critical severity. Notes alone do not trigger it. A persistent finding whose details change is not necessarily counted as newly opened, and accepted findings are excluded from the digest query.

Manual Check now suppresses its digest, and the targeted domain recheck does not send a change digest either. Enabling notifications does not immediately email the existing backlog or make the manual check a delivery test.

Review a missing email

Check the automatic sweep, new finding state, acceptance, recipients and normal mail evidence. The email lists up to forty qualifying findings; its outstanding totals are bounded queries, not a full export of an unlimited queue. There is no persistent digest retry queue after a mail failure.

Successful mail submission is not proof of inbox delivery. Review Needs attention, Report and Activity even when no email arrives. Compare the scan time and mail result before repeatedly running checks in an attempt to generate another message.
