How to choose domains and schedule PD Email Deliverability checks in Blesta
Use PD Email Deliverability to review the DNS configuration of eligible domains in Blesta. Start with the intended domain sources, then check coverage before interpreting the findings.
Configure the sources
- Open PD Modules → Deliverability → Settings.
- Review Check domains attached to hosting services and Check domains registered through you.
- Review Also check domains that do not send mail. The module infers this classification from observed MX and SPF records; it is not a sender inventory.
- Review Re-check automatically and Domains per sweep, then save.
- Open Domains and choose Check now for a deliberate batch of DNS queries.
The sweep synchronises the selected platform sources, then checks never-checked and older domains in batches. Hosting scope includes eligible active and suspended services. Source reads are bounded, and domain-name filtering excludes IP addresses and many deeper hostnames. It is not a list of every possible email-sending domain.
Verify coverage and timing
The daily job requires platform cron and an active module licence. A daily job does not mean every domain in a large book is refreshed daily. Manual Check now is separate from the automatic switch and suppresses the digest for that run.
The displayed domain list and its search are also bounded. On Blesta, service candidates are limited before domain recognition, which can reduce coverage in a large mixed service book.
Changing source switches can remove previously collected rows and findings during synchronisation. Review the intended coverage before switching a source off. Compare missing-domain references and checked times with the selected sources rather than creating a live service merely to add a monitoring row.
