Create an AWS S3 storage package in Blesta
Define the storage service customers can order through PD AWS S3. Connect the intended AWS account first, then choose the service defaults and the platform’s provisioning policy.
Configure the service offering
- Open Packages → Packages → Add Package.
- Select PD AWS S3 and the intended module account.
- On the package’s Module tab, review Quota mode, default quota, bucket allowance, versioning, Default Region and client feature switches.
- Set the package name, pricing and package group, then save.
- Add the package group to the intended order form under Packages → Order Forms.
The default region matters before the first order. Exposed customer options can override defaults; use the configurable-options guide and region guide to review that deliberately.
Confirm that activation provisions storage
Paid orders need the Provision Paid Pending Services task under Settings → Company → Automation, the applicable client group’s Automatically Provision Paid Pending Services choice under billing/invoice options, and a running cron. Staff activating a pending service must keep Use module selected. Inspect Clients & Storage and Activity after the platform’s provisioning task runs.
Creating storage incurs AWS resources and provider usage. Review the account, intended region and configuration before using your controlled provisioning process.
Review the client result
Check that the intended service has its own bucket and service credentials. Verify the client can see their storage information and only the controls included in the product or package. Keep host IAM credentials out of client notes.
If the service remains empty or pending, use the provisioning troubleshooting guide before creating another service or changing a working account.
