How customers review and sign PD Agreements in Blesta

Customers review applicable published agreements through their own signed-in account. Use this guide to explain the signing steps and diagnose a missing or incomplete acceptance without asking staff to sign for the customer.

Open the right account and request

Ask the customer to sign in to the account that the agreement applies to, then open Agreements from the client area. The page separates Waiting for your signature from earlier Signed records.

Choose Review and sign beside a pending item. A reminder link can also open the signing page, but it does not grant access to another account’s documents or replace signing in.

On Blesta, a document labelled At checkout is requested during a later account visit after ordering; the module does not stop the order form itself. Account access while a signature is outstanding depends on the host’s settings and the request type.

Review and accept the document

  1. Check the document’s title and displayed version.
  2. Open and read the wording. If scrolling is required, move to the end of its document area; short documents may already show their end.
  3. Select I have read and accept this agreement for the document being accepted.
  4. For a typed-name request, complete Type your full name to sign. For a drawn signature, use the signature pad; Clear resets a drawing that needs replacing.
  5. Choose Accept and continue and read the result.

Selecting the acceptance box is still part of a typed-name or drawn-signature interaction. Entering a name or drawing alone does not submit an acceptance.

Confirm the outcome

A successful result confirms that an acceptance was recorded. Return to Agreements to inspect the signed record and its version. Download a copy is available when the host permits customer downloads.

When several documents are present, check the remaining list after submission. Some acceptances can be recorded while another item still needs attention. Resolve the indicated missing box, name or drawing rather than repeatedly submitting every item without checking.

If Remind me later is offered, it postpones the account-visit prompt for the allowed session window; it is not an acceptance. If the page says Nothing to sign, check the account and whether an earlier valid acceptance already satisfies the current request.

Help with an unexpected result

For a missing item, staff can check the published state, audience, request timing, required flag and current version’s re-acceptance choice. A saved draft’s new wording is not yet the published signing text.

If an error appears, note the document/version, attempt time, device/browser and redacted message. Check the Signed list before another attempt. Do not ask the customer to email a drawn signature or account password as a workaround. Your hosting team should retain those observations and the original error while checking which items were recorded and which still need input.

Check the signing result

Your hosting team should help the customer identify the correct account, document/version and indicated missing acceptance box, name or drawing, then inspect the Signed list and any remaining requests before another submission. Some items may already be recorded when another still needs input. Review published state, audience, timing, required flag and earlier valid acceptance if nothing is offered. The customer should not send a drawing or password to replace the supported signing interaction.
