What's in the box

  • A managed App Platform app per order — built and run from the customer's own public Git repository or container image.
  • Source, deploys and live URL from the client area — the customer sees their app's status and live URL, redeploys on demand, and can change the source.
  • Instance scaling through WHMCS's or Blesta's Upgrade/Downgrade flow.
  • Clean teardown — cancelling deletes the app.

Why hosts choose it

You already have a DigitalOcean account. This turns it into a modern, git-driven app-hosting product — build, deploy and run handled by the platform, billed through WHMCS or Blesta, no infrastructure to manage and no per-app fees to us.

Questions

Which billing platforms does PD DigitalOcean App Platform work with?

PD DigitalOcean App Platform is available for WHMCS (8.13 or later) and Blesta (6.0 or later). Each has its own page with the screenshots, requirements and price for that system. A module is added to the PD Modules licence of the installation it runs on, so a WHMCS installation and a Blesta installation each hold their own licence.

Where does the customer's code come from?

The customer supplies a public Git repository (with a branch) or a container image at checkout — or sets it from the client area after ordering.

Can customers redeploy after pushing new code?

Yes — one click from the client area triggers a fresh build and deploy.

Can customers scale their app?

Yes — through WHMCS or Blesta Upgrade/Downgrade, which updates the instance size and count while preserving the source.

What happens when a service is terminated?

The app is deleted from your DigitalOcean account.

Do I need my own DigitalOcean account?

Yes. You resell on your own DigitalOcean account, at your own margin. Your API token is stored encrypted on your WHMCS or Blesta server and is never shown to a customer.

Does a lapsed PD Modules licence break my customers' services?

No. A licence lapse withdraws the management layer in stages but never stops, deletes or alters a running customer resource. Your customers keep serving throughout.

What does it cost to run, on top of the subscription?

Only what you already pay your provider. PD DigitalOcean App Platform adds no per-unit fee and takes no cut — it connects to your own account with your own credentials, so the provider bills you directly at your rates, and you set what you charge your customers. From us it is the module subscription and nothing else.

What data leaves my server?

Your customers' data stays in your WHMCS or Blesta. To confirm your licence, the platform sends us four things and nothing else: your licence key, the domain, your server's own IP address and the directory it is installed in — the four values recorded against your licence in your client area. Alongside that we see which module and version you run and whether its licence is healthy, so we can ship compatible updates. We never receive your clients' personal data, your credentials, or the contents of your WHMCS or Blesta. Crash reports are off unless you turn them on, and a diagnostic report is only ever sent when you send one, after showing you a preview you can edit.

How do I get help?

Open a ticket from your client area, or use Get help inside the PD Modules panel, which attaches a diagnostic report — you see a preview of exactly what it contains, and can exclude any part of it, before anything is sent. Support is included with an active subscription; bug reports are welcome whatever your licence state.
