Servers & Compute

Available for WHMCS and Blesta

Sell managed Kubernetes (DOKS) clusters as a native, automatically billed WHMCS or Blesta product.

What's in the box

  • One-click kubeconfig download from the client area — the customer connects with kubectl immediately, no access to your DigitalOcean account needed.
  • Node-pool scaling through WHMCS's or Blesta's Upgrade/Downgrade flow.
  • Destroy-with-associated-resources teardown — cancelling destroys the cluster together with the load balancers and volumes it created; zero orphans.

Why hosts choose it

You already have a DigitalOcean account. This turns it into a branded managed-Kubernetes product for the container-savvy segment — DigitalOcean runs the control plane, you bill through WHMCS or Blesta, no per-cluster fees to us.

Questions

Which billing platforms does PD DigitalOcean Kubernetes work with?

PD DigitalOcean Kubernetes is available for WHMCS (8.13 or later) and Blesta (6.0 or later). Each has its own page with the screenshots, requirements and price for that system. A module is added to the PD Modules licence of the installation it runs on, so a WHMCS installation and a Blesta installation each hold their own licence.

How do customers connect to their cluster?

They download their kubeconfig from the client area in one click and use it with kubectl. No access to your DigitalOcean account is needed.

Can customers scale their cluster?

Yes — through WHMCS or Blesta Upgrade/Downgrade, which resizes or grows the worker node pool.

Does suspending stop billing?

No — a managed control plane can't be paused, so suspension is a management lock and the cluster keeps running. Terminate to stop billing.

What happens when a service is terminated?

The cluster is destroyed together with the load balancers and volumes DigitalOcean provisioned for it — zero orphans left billing on your account.

Do I need my own DigitalOcean account?

Yes. You resell on your own DigitalOcean account, at your own margin. Your API token is stored encrypted on your WHMCS or Blesta server and is never shown to a customer.

Does a lapsed PD Modules licence break my customers' services?

No. A licence lapse withdraws the management layer in stages but never stops, deletes or alters a running customer resource. Your customers keep serving throughout.

What data leaves my server?

Your customers' data stays in your WHMCS or Blesta. To confirm your licence, the platform sends us four things and nothing else: your licence key, the domain, your server's own IP address and the directory it is installed in — the four values recorded against your licence in your client area. Alongside that we see which module and version you run and whether its licence is healthy, so we can ship compatible updates. We never receive your clients' personal data, your credentials, or the contents of your WHMCS or Blesta. Crash reports are off unless you turn them on, and a diagnostic report is only ever sent when you send one, after showing you a preview you can edit.

How do I get help?

Open a ticket from your client area, or use Get help inside the PD Modules panel, which attaches a diagnostic report — you see a preview of exactly what it contains, and can exclude any part of it, before anything is sent. Support is included with an active subscription; bug reports are welcome whatever your licence state.
