Server Management Agreement

Introduction

This Server Management Agreement ("Agreement") governs the purchase and use of Linux VPS and WordPress VPS services ("VPS Services") offered by Projektif Digital Ltd, trading as PD Hosting. This Agreement is supplemental to PD Hosting's general Terms of Service.

Scope of Services

PD Hosting offers two types of VPS Services:

Linux VPS: A versatile environment featuring multiple operating systems, availability zones, and high-performance SSD storage.

WordPress VPS: Specifically tailored for WordPress installations, offering optimized performance and resources.

Both services include monitoring, usage graphs, firewall, snapshot, and a console for easy SSH connections via the VPS dashboard.

Self-Managed vs Managed Services

Self-Managed

In a self-managed environment, PD Hosting's responsibilities are limited to:

• Server availability
• Network accessibility
• Basic dashboard functionality

Clients are responsible for:

• Software installations and updates
• Firewall configurations
• Data backups
• Troubleshooting application-level issues

Managed Services

In a managed environment, PD Hosting will additionally provide:

• Software installations and basic configuration
• Firewall setup according to best practices
• Priority support for troubleshooting issues
• Regular system updates

Firewall Configuration

Clients can access a Firewall tab in the PD Hosting dashboard for configuring firewall settings themselves. Note that port 25 is blocked, and clients should use alternative ports for email services.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to adhere to PD Hosting’s Acceptable Use Policy and are responsible for the backup of their data.

Support and Maintenance

PD Hosting offers various support channels including support tickets, live chat, and email for technical issues. Emergency maintenance will be announced via the PD Hosting dashboard and email notifications.

Limitation of Liability

PD Hosting shall not be held responsible for issues caused by client-initiated changes to the VPS settings, including but not limited to firewall configurations and software installations.

Changes and Amendments

PD Hosting reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be communicated through the PD Hosting dashboard and email notifications.
