PD Shield for Blesta: review suspicious orders

PD Shield helps staff review suspicious signups and orders in Blesta. Choose the response to a matching rule before deciding how strict that rule should be.

What the workflow covers

Velocity limits look for repeated activity within a time window. Order Guard and Purchase Limits address specific customers or purchase caps. These controls need to fit your own order flow; a flagged order still needs context.

Before you start

Install PD Modules for Blesta first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Shield from its Store. Allow the staff group that needs to use it.

Set up your first workflow

  1. Open PD Shield → Settings and review Action when a rule matches. Begin with a response your team can review and choose the alert recipients.
  2. Set a suitable velocity window and threshold. Read the event report so you understand which activity caused a match.
  3. Review Order Guard and Purchase Limits separately. Check the result on your own order flow before applying broad restrictions.

Check the result

Confirm a matching event appears with the intended action and that staff know how to handle a held order. Risk-scoring and additional threat checks are Pro features.

Blesta does not use the invisible honeypot controls shown in some other installations. Order Guard holds flagged orders for review on this platform; do not assume it blocks the checkout itself.
