How to email a PD Notes message to a client in Blesta

Use Share with the client when you want to send an account note by email and also make it visible in the customer’s Blesta portal. This is an active send, so review the note and recipient before confirming it.

Prepare a suitable note

Open PD Notes → All Notes, find the intended note and verify its client or service attachment. Read the full body and remove internal-only commentary from any message you intend to share. Domain notes cannot be shared with the client.

In Settings, Allow notes to be shown to the client must be enabled. Check the client’s email information through your normal authorised account workflow. A missing address prevents this send; do not substitute a different customer’s account to make the button available.

Review and send

  1. Choose Share on the note or its All Notes row.
  2. Review the preview and the Share with the client section.
  3. Add an Optional message to the client if needed. It goes above the note in the email.
  4. Read the destination on the Email to button and the last-shared time, if shown.
  5. Choose the email button and confirm Send only when the account, recipient and contents are correct.

A successful action is intended to email the note and mark it visible in the portal. Check both results: mail acceptance is not proof of inbox delivery, and the portal display is a separate outcome. Client and service notes appear on the client-area home. A service note is shown under its service’s name.

Avoid an accidental second email

Last-shared information helps you review an earlier send; it is not a lock preventing another one. If a request times out or the result is unclear, check the note, portal visibility and mail history before retrying. A second click can create a second message.

If you later hide the note, that changes the portal display rather than retracting the email. For an uncertain send, check its recorded outcome before sending another copy.
