PD MCP Hub for Blesta: scope an AI assistant connection

PD MCP Hub connects an assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol to Blesta. Each connection has its own token, access scope and limits, so start with the task the assistant actually needs to perform.

What the workflow covers

The selected administrator or staff account and the connection settings both matter. Area access, risk ceilings and read-only controls can narrow the tools available. Approval requirements depend on the operation and configuration; do not assume a token grants every action.

Before you start

Install PD Modules for Blesta first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD MCP Hub from its Store. Allow the staff group that needs to use it.

Set up your first workflow

  1. Open MCP Hub and create a connection for one assistant. Choose the administrator or staff account whose permissions fit the task.
  2. Select the needed areas and a suitable ceiling. For discovery work, use read-only access and leave unrelated areas disabled.
  3. Use the endpoint and token shown for that connection in your assistant client. Test an allowed lookup, then check the audit result before broadening access.

Check the result

Confirm that the expected tool is available and that a restricted operation is refused. If a tool is absent, check both account permissions and the connection’s area and ceiling.

Treat the connection token as a credential. Use a separate connection for another assistant so its access can be changed independently.
