How to add Valkey checkout choices in Blesta

Let customers choose supported Valkey resource settings through PD DigitalOcean Valkey. Keep the resource offer separate from the application’s key-retention and memory policy.

Save the offering defaults

Open the intended package, confirm its provider account and review Region, Plan, Engine version and High availability on Module Options. Valkey is the fixed engine. Region and version apply when creating a cluster; changing a later service selection does not migrate or upgrade it.

Generate native configurable options

  1. Open PD Modules → DigitalOcean Valkey → Products and find the intended package.
  2. Choose Generate options and review the confirmation.
  3. Inspect the assigned native group for Region, Plan, High availability and Engine version where offered.
  4. Choose customer-selectable dimensions, save visibility and inspect the actual checkout form.

High availability requests the module’s primary-plus-standby layout. It is not an arbitrary node-count field. Storage follows the chosen size; this generator does not add a separate adjustable storage or eviction-policy dimension.

Review prices and effective selections

Hidden dimensions normally use the package defaults. Check the saved defaults and effective selection as well as visible choices. Set generated prices under Packages → Configurable Options, reviewing the currencies and periods you offer.

Cached or fallback catalogue choices do not prove that every plan is available in every region for the selected account. Application compatibility and a suitable working set also need review; a Valkey plan name is not proof that a workload fits its memory.

Refresh the group carefully

Rebuild from DigitalOcean refreshes generated choices and resets prices after confirmation. Compatible identifiers are retained, but existing services and prices still need review. Saving visibility is a separate operation that preserves prices.

After rebuilding, inspect the group, defaults, prices and checkout again. Keep creation-only region and version choices out of later customer edit flows where the platform provides that control.
