How to find OpenSearch Dashboards from your Blesta service

Use the separate OpenSearch Dashboards address supplied for a PD DigitalOcean OpenSearch service. This is the browser interface for the cluster, distinct from its HTTPS API endpoint.

Find the service’s Dashboards address

  1. Open the intended client service’s Information page once the cluster is ready.
  2. Choose View connection details. Enable Client: Connection details on the package.
  3. Find the OpenSearch Dashboards address alongside the connection details when the provider returns it.
  4. Open that displayed HTTPS address in your browser, checking that it belongs to the intended service.

Do not construct a Dashboards URL by changing the API port or adding a guessed path. The module treats the Dashboards address as a separate provider-returned value.

Use the service credential

When prompted, use the OpenSearch username and current password for that service. These are different from your hosting client-area login and DigitalOcean API token. Obtain them from the connection window without exposing them in screenshots or messages.

DigitalOcean’s OpenSearch connection guide explains the provider’s Dashboard and API entry points. Their presence does not mean that PD DigitalOcean OpenSearch adds customer user-management or index-creation screens inside the billing platform.

Understand an empty dashboard

Opening Dashboards does not automatically ingest application logs or create visualisations. A cluster can be running while the customer still needs to configure their own data source, ingestion and views using the tools appropriate to that workload. This guide verifies access to the service interface; it does not promise those application tasks have been completed.

When the address or page is unavailable

Check cluster readiness, the connection-detail switch and the client’s allowed source address. A failed provider read can leave the separate Dashboards address unavailable even when stored API details remain visible. Confirm the current provider-returned address rather than guessing one.

If the displayed URL fails or authentication is refused, compare the service state, current credential and reported error. Keep browser certificate checks enabled, and do not recreate the cluster or repeatedly regenerate its password to resolve an uncertain access problem.
