How to add OpenSearch checkout choices in Blesta

Let clients choose supported OpenSearch resource settings through PD DigitalOcean OpenSearch. Review the offering’s defaults and prices before exposing choices to customers.

Save the offering first

Open the intended package, confirm its provider account and review Region, Plan, Engine version and High availability on Module Options. The engine is fixed to OpenSearch. Region and version apply when creating a cluster; a later edit to a service selection is not a region migration or engine upgrade.

Generate native configurable options

  1. Open PD Modules → DigitalOcean OpenSearch → Products and find the intended package.
  2. Choose Generate options and review the confirmation.
  3. Inspect the assigned native group for Region, Plan, High availability and Engine version where offered.
  4. Choose customer-selectable dimensions, save visibility and inspect the actual checkout form.

High availability requests the module’s three-node layout. It is not an arbitrary node-count field, and a generated plan does not establish that every region supports the intended layout.

Review defaults and prices

Hidden dimensions normally use the package defaults. Check the saved defaults and effective order selection as well as the visible form. Manage generated prices under Packages → Configurable Options, reviewing the currencies and periods you offer.

Storage follows the selected cluster size; this generator does not add a separate adjustable storage dimension. Cached or fallback catalogue choices can differ from current provider availability for the selected account.

Refresh an existing group carefully

Rebuild from DigitalOcean refreshes choices and resets generated prices after confirmation. Compatible existing identifiers are retained, but prices and current services still need review. Saving visibility is a separate operation that preserves prices.

After rebuilding, inspect the group, defaults, prices and checkout again. Keep creation-only region and version choices out of later customer edit flows where the billing platform provides that control.
