PD Crypto Pay for WHMCS: understand the crypto-payment workflow

PD Crypto Pay lets customers pay invoices with the cryptocurrencies you enable, using the wallet and provider configuration you supply. Understand the quote and confirmation stages before offering it at checkout.

What the workflow covers

An invoice payment starts with a quote. The module then watches for a transaction and the required confirmations before crediting the invoice. Seeing a transaction and having a credited invoice are different states; follow the payment timeline when answering a customer query.

Before you start

Install PD Modules for WHMCS first, connect the account that holds your licence, then install PD Crypto Pay from its Store. Allow the administrator role that needs to use it.

Set up your first workflow

  1. Open the module and configure the wallet or provider settings for the coins you intend to offer. Check each coin’s destination rather than assuming one address works across networks.
  2. Review Settings for the payment window, confirmation requirements and how short or overpayments should be handled.
  3. Check how a customer opens the payment option from an invoice. Read the payment timeline and the quoted network before using the workflow for live invoices.

Check the result

Match the invoice, quote and transaction status. If a payment needs investigation, retain the transaction reference and the exact status rather than manually marking an unconfirmed transaction as paid.

Network conditions and confirmation requirements affect when a payment is credited. A displayed quote is not a promise of an instant payment.
