Generate PD Azure MySQL checkout options in WHMCS

Offer customer-selectable database choices through PD Azure MySQL’s Products page. Check the generated option group and your own prices before making it available on the order form.

Prepare the product

Save a product using PD Azure MySQL, the intended server group and its region, plan, engine version and storage defaults. Keep the offering out of sale while reviewing a new option group.

The generator uses the module’s maintained catalogue. It does not perform a live deployment check for every subscription, region and plan combination. Confirm the intended choices can be offered from your Azure subscription separately.

Generate and inspect the group

  1. Open PD Modules → AZ MySQL → Products and find the intended product.
  2. Choose Actions → Generate options if there is no generated group. If it already exists, read the Rebuild from catalog warning before proceeding.
  3. Inspect Region, Plan, Storage and Engine version in the generated group. In the reviewed release, Storage is a dropdown of sizes; do not expect a free-form per-GB slider.
  4. Open System Settings → Products/Services → Configurable Options to edit the generated group’s choices and your own prices. The product’s Configurable Options tab assigns groups; it is not the full pricing editor.
  5. Review every billing cycle and currency you offer. Generator defaults are not a quote for Azure usage or a decision about your margins.
  6. Preview the order form and check the effective selected values and total price before making the offering available.

Check the generated storage choice even if it is hidden. The generator’s storage starting choice can differ from the value you typed in Module Settings. A hidden checkout choice is not a reason to skip reviewing what the service will receive.

Change visibility separately

Expand the product’s Customer-selectable dimensions controls, select the intended visible dimensions and use Save visibility. This changes visibility without rebuilding the option prices. Read the result, inspect the saved group and preview checkout again.

Generated choices can override Module Settings defaults. Confirm the actual selected region, plan, version and storage rather than assuming a hidden dimension always falls back to the product’s value.

Treat rebuilding as a replacement

Rebuild from catalog replaces the generated options and their prices with generator defaults. Record your customised choices and prices before rebuilding an existing offering. This is different from saving visibility and can affect the choices referenced by existing services.

If the operation has an uncertain result, inspect the linked group and the last operation result before generating or rebuilding again. Keep the existing group until that outcome is clear. Generating options does not provision a server or turn on automatic product setup.

Do not include provider secrets or customer billing data.
