Create a DigitalOcean Droplet package in Blesta
Define the server your customer receives: its DigitalOcean account, region, plan, operating system and available management features. Creating a package configures an offering; activating a service can create billable provider resources.
Prepare the account
Install PD Modules and PD DigitalOcean Droplets, connect the account holding your module licence, and allow the appropriate staff group to use it. Complete the DigitalOcean connection and check its read-only test.
Create the offering
- Open Packages → Packages → Add Package.
- Choose PD DigitalOcean Droplets as the module and select the intended DigitalOcean account.
- Set Region, Plan and Operating system in the package’s module options.
- Review additional storage, backups, dedicated IP, IPv6, account SSH key and optional project defaults.
- Review the Client: feature controls and the Included snapshots allowance.
- Set the name, price, term and package group, then save.
- Add the package group to the intended order form under Packages → Order Forms.
An Included snapshots value of 0 gives no included manual snapshots unless the customer buys an allowance through a configurable option. Decide that separately from automated backups.
Confirm activation behaviour
Blesta provisions when it activates the service. Paid pending services normally follow Provision Paid Pending Services, or staff activation when the package holds them for manual activation. Check those settings separately from the module’s finishing jobs.
Use your controlled first-service process when ready. Confirm the intended instance, region, plan and OS, then wait for its networking and storage work to finish before handing it over.
For customer choices and selling prices, continue with configurable options. For an activated service with no ready server, use the provisioning checks before repeating Create or Activate.
