Resolve PD-DL download errors in PD Modules for Blesta
If a module installation or update stops with a code such as PD-DL-08, keep the complete code and message. PD Modules has refused the download because a verification check did not pass; the short code helps support identify the next step.
Record the failed attempt
- Note the module name and whether you were installing or updating it.
- Save the full message and PD-DL code, together with the time.
- If the message has closed, check the PD Modules activity log for the recorded code and reason. For background work, check the existing entry on Jobs as well.
- Confirm whether the earlier operation is failed, queued or still running before requesting another action.
Choose the next step by code
PD-DL-02 or PD-DL-08: once the earlier attempt has failed, retry that installation or update once through the panel. These codes concern a mismatch in download verification; they do not prove which system caused it. If the same code returns, stop retrying.
PD-DL-01, PD-DL-05 or PD-DL-07: PD Modules support needs to check the download supplied to you. Repeated installation attempts do not repair the supplied release information.
PD-DL-03, PD-DL-04 or PD-DL-06: PD Modules support needs to check the PD Modules installation. Do not edit its verification configuration, replace verification keys or download individual replacement files from an unrelated source.
Keep the verification check in place
Do not bypass verification, alter the downloaded files or disable a security control to force the installation to continue. Do not treat a refused download as an instruction to delete the module or its data.
If the installation or update’s final state is uncertain, check the existing Jobs and activity entries before trying again. If the final state remains unclear, stop rather than repeat the operation. The error code describes a failed check; it is not a complete report of the installation’s current state.
