Generate PD Google Cloud SQL Server checkout options in WHMCS
Expose customer-selectable database choices through the module’s Products page. Review the generated choices and your own prices before enabling the offering on an order form.
Prepare the saved product
Save a product using PD Google Cloud SQL Server, the intended server group and its region, plan, version and storage defaults. Keep a new offering out of sale while reviewing its configuration.
The generator reads a maintained catalogue. It does not test every choice against current project permissions, quota, region capacity or version availability.
Generate and review the option group
- Open PD Modules → GC SQL Server → Products and find the intended product.
- Choose Actions → Generate options if no generated group exists. For an existing group, review the Rebuild from catalog warning first.
- Inspect Region, Plan, Storage and Engine version. Storage is a dropdown of sizes in the reviewed release; it is not a free-form per-GB slider. Regional high availability is not a generated dimension here.
- Open System Settings → Products/Services → Configurable Options to edit the generated group’s choices and your own prices. The product’s Configurable Options tab attaches groups; it is not the full pricing editor.
- Review each currency and billing cycle you offer. Generator defaults do not establish provider usage costs or your intended margins.
- Preview the order form and confirm effective selected values and the customer total before making the product available.
Review the generated storage choice even when hidden: its starting selection can differ from the value entered in Module Settings. Generated selections can override product defaults.
Save visibility separately
Expand Customer-selectable dimensions, select the intended dimensions and use Save visibility. This changes visibility without rebuilding the prices. Read the result, inspect the saved choices and preview the form again. A hidden choice is not a reason to skip checking the resource specification.
Rebuild with existing choices in mind
Rebuild from catalog replaces the generated choices and resets their prices to defaults. Record customised choices and prices first, and consider the choices referenced by existing services. Rebuilding is different from changing visibility.
If the operation’s outcome is uncertain, inspect the linked group and the last operation result before generating or rebuilding again. Keep the existing group until that outcome is clear. Generating options does not provision an instance or enable automatic product setup.
Do not send provider credentials or customer billing data.
