How to add MongoDB checkout choices in WHMCS

Let customers choose a supported MongoDB region, plan, availability layout and engine version through PD DigitalOcean MongoDB. Keep the choices aligned with the configuration you intend to provide.

Save the offering defaults

Open the intended product, confirm its provider account and review Region, Plan, Engine version and High availability on Module Settings. MongoDB is the fixed engine. Region and version are creation choices; a later change to a service’s stored selection does not migrate the cluster or upgrade its engine.

Generate native configurable options

  1. Open PD Modules → DigitalOcean MongoDB → Products and find the intended product.
  2. Choose Generate options and read the confirmation.
  3. Inspect the assigned native option group for Region, Plan, High availability and Engine version where offered.
  4. Use the customer-selectable dimension controls, save visibility and inspect the actual checkout form.

High availability requests the module’s three-node replica-set layout. It is not an arbitrary node-count field. A generated choice does not establish that every plan supports that layout in every region.

Review defaults, prices and allowed edits

Hidden dimensions normally use the product defaults. Check the effective selection as well as what the form displays. Manage option prices under System Settings → Products/Services → Configurable Options, reviewing the billing currencies and periods you offer.

Storage follows the selected cluster size; this generator does not provide a separate adjustable storage dimension. Keep creation-only choices out of later customer edit flows where the platform provides that control. Do not sell an ordinary region or version edit as an in-place migration.

Rebuild with a price review

Rebuild from DigitalOcean refreshes generated choices and resets prices after confirmation. Compatible existing identifiers are retained, but prices and current services still need review. Saving visibility is a separate operation that preserves prices.

After rebuilding, recheck the group, defaults, prices and checkout. Cached, stale or fallback catalogue data can differ from the selected account’s current offering; confirm current provider availability before relying on a new combination.
