If your infrastructure runs on Azure DNS, PD Azure DNS brings every hosted zone and record under your WHMCS or Blesta admin — and gives your customers a clean, self-service Manage DNS portal so they can add and update their own records without opening a support ticket.
Every zone in your Azure subscription appears in a fast, searchable list the moment you connect. No import. No sync. No manual setup per zone. The list pages server-side, so performance stays consistent whether you have ten zones or ten thousand.
Open any zone and you get a full record editor with live filtering by type and name. Changes write directly to Azure DNS — there is no local cache to get out of sync.
Choosing a record type in the editor shows exactly the right fields for that type — and only those fields. An MX record gets a priority and a mail server target; an SRV record gets all four SRV fields; a TXT record gets a content area with the right validation. Built-in validators prevent a malformed record from being saved. Supports A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV, CAA and more.
Bind any zone to a WHMCS or Blesta client and a Manage DNS link appears in their client portal. Customers use the same type-aware editor to add, edit and delete their own records, without support involvement and without any access to your Azure subscription.
PD Azure DNS is available for WHMCS (8.13 or later) and Blesta (6.0 or later). Each has its own page with the screenshots, requirements and price for that system. A module is added to the PD Modules licence of the installation it runs on, so a WHMCS installation and a Blesta installation each hold their own licence.
No. Every change writes directly to Azure DNS through its API — there is no local copy of your records to get out of sync or to lose.
An Azure service-principal credential with permission to manage DNS zones in your subscription. You connect it once and every zone loads automatically.
No. Unbinding a zone in WHMCS or Blesta only removes it from the module's view — the zone and its records stay in Azure DNS untouched.
Your zones keep resolving — they live in Azure DNS, not in the module. Management is withdrawn until the account is brought back into good standing; nothing is deleted.
Yes. Bind a zone to a client and a Manage DNS link appears in their portal, giving them the same type-aware editor for their own records — with no access to your Azure subscription.
Nothing of yours is touched, and nothing is deleted. The module steps down in stages instead: a 14-day grace period where everything still works and you get a renewal reminder, then admin management locks while your customers carry on being served, and only after that do the customer-facing features stop — behind a neutral "temporarily unavailable, please contact support" message that never mentions licensing to your customer. Anything the module provisioned keeps running in your own account throughout, and your data and settings stay exactly where they are. Renewing restores everything immediately.
Only what you already pay your provider. PD Azure DNS adds no per-unit fee and takes no cut — it connects to your own account with your own credentials, so the provider bills you directly at your rates, and you set what you charge your customers. From us it is the module subscription and nothing else.
Your customers' data stays in your WHMCS or Blesta. To confirm your licence, the platform sends us four things and nothing else: your licence key, the domain, your server's own IP address and the directory it is installed in — the four values recorded against your licence in your client area. Alongside that we see which module and version you run and whether its licence is healthy, so we can ship compatible updates. We never receive your clients' personal data, your credentials, or the contents of your WHMCS or Blesta. Crash reports are off unless you turn them on, and a diagnostic report is only ever sent when you send one, after showing you a preview you can edit.
